Unlike most development projects I worked on with Invent TV, this concept came to me already fully formed, so my mission was not to flesh out a format, but to find the best way to communicate someone else’s vision. Some ripped assets were fairly straight forward and simple enough to source, but there were only so many ways to represent a social media “like” or rating, and the script called for A LOT of them. I knew I needed to come up with something more to keep things visually interesting. Introducing the reoccurring theme of well-recognized gifs brought a new fresh and fun spin to the piece while doing the important job of supporting the premise.
